Our Programs and Services

Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) helps communities by offering many learning and skill programs:

• We teach new skills
  We find groups who need help and train them, especially those new to reading, to learn useful skills.
• Job Training
  We run different training classes for important teachers, trainers, and new readers to learn job skills.
• Finding Needs
  We figure out what different groups need to learn and what job skills they want.
• Many Kinds of Learning
  We plan and carry out many education activities, including teaching people to read, helping them after they learn to read, and offering ongoing education.
• New Ways to Learn
  We always look for and use new and better ways to teach and train people.
• Working Together
  We team up with other education groups, culture groups, social groups, government offices, and businesses to help the community.
• Connecting People
  We help connect different learning and technical schools to work better together.
• Training Teachers
  We train teachers and helpers who plan and run our programs.
• Flexible Learning
  We offer programs through an Open Learning System so people can learn in a flexible way.
• Helping with Reading
  We keep libraries and reading rooms. We also provide reading materials at low prices for new readers and others.
• Giving Advice
  We offer advice to groups and businesses that run their own training programs.
• Helping Those in Need
  We create special learning and job training programs for people who are struggling, like women, girls, and young people without jobs. This helps them get better skills, find jobs, and earn money.
• Building Community
  We help create groups (like forums and societies) so people can work together to improve their lives and communities.
• Support After Programs
  We stay in touch and help everyone who has used JSS services.
